Taster: Portals of the World

Just a quick reminder of our Taster session next Tuesday as there are a few spaces left.

We will meet at the museum at 2pm, gather for a short art talk by a museum staff member and then proceed to a reserved education room for a relaxed hands-on demonstration where you have the choice of participating or observing.  This is a taste of what our Autumn course will offer.  We will end the session promptly at 4pm at which time you are free to visit the museum further.

This course is a collaboration with the Fitzwilliam Museum and supports people living with dementia, both the person with memory challenges and his or her care partner.  We have built on the Museum’s ten years of experience and commitment working with people with dementia, added the expertise of dementiaCOMPASS and incorporated recent evidence of the value of social opportunities and art experience to develop a dynamic and enjoyable experience for both care partners.

If you would like more information about the open session or the September art course, please contact us below, either through the contact form or by adding a comment.
